Hasbro Children’s Hospital names 2022 Brite Lite winners

PROVIDENCE – Five Hasbro Children’s Hospital employees were honored on June 21 as 2022 Brite Lite award winners for the impact they’ve had on young patients and their families.

The Brite Lite program spotlights five employees who have surpassed their everyday duties to make patients and families with whom they come into contact feel safe, important and well cared for. Honorees are selected for excelling in characterizing “the four Cs” at Hasbro Children’s Hospital: caring, communication, cooperation and competence.

“Today is a proud day, as it is an opportunity to honor our thoughtful and devoted Hasbro Children’s Hospital physicians and staff who go above and beyond when caring for children during their time here,” said Dr. Phyllis Dennery, pediatrician-in-chief and medical director of Hasbro Children’s Hospital. “We’re very fortunate to be a hospital that’s very connected to our community, allowing us to make a real difference in the lives of patients and families of all walks of life.”

Brite Lite winners for 2022 are:

  • Nathalie Paz of Providence, a registered nurse on the fourth floor of Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
  • Dr. Connor Wilson of Providence, an emergency medicine resident.
  • Hayley Zackarian of Cranston, a registered nurse on the sixth floor of Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
  • Erica King of Burrillville, a registered nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
  • Abigail Cruz of Coventry, a registered nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit of Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
