NORTH KINGSTOWN – Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, which acquired MSC Software in 2017, announced the 2018 MSC Software Global Users’ Conference at HxGN LIVE, Hexagon’s technology conference. It will be held in Las Vegas from June 12-15.

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, part of Hexagon, has its U.S. commercial operation base in North Kingstown. The company produces information technologies that help companies drive productivity and quality in the aerospace, medical, automotive and other industries.

“This year’s HxGN LIVE conference will challenge manufacturers to think differently,” said Norbert Hanke, president, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, in a statement. “Technology is developing at an accelerating rate, but [realizing] the true potential of digital transformation also requires a mindset shift. Conference attendees will leave Las Vegas with a new perspective on quality, productivity and the pursuit of smart manufacturing.”

Hanke will deliver the keynote address, “Rethink Quality,” at HxGN LIVE June 13.
