LITTLE COMPTON – A waterfront home in Little Compton sold for $3.15 million last month, a real estate firm handling the transaction said.
Residential Properties Ltd. said the home at 40 Washington Road known as “High Point” represented the highest home sale price in Little Compton this year.
The 11-room shingled house includes 2,759-square-feet of living space, five bedrooms and four bathrooms. The seven-acre property also comes with a separate guesthouse and garage.
Built in 1955, the home overlooks Round Pond and comes with deeded access to two beaches.
“The company’s continued success in selling luxury properties is a strong indication that Rhode Island’s high-end real estate market is alive and well,” Residential Properties Chief Financial Officer Libby Isaacson said.
Judy Chace, an agent based in the company’s Narragansett office, handled the transaction.
