PROVIDENCE – Home Loan Investment Bank last week opened a new mortgage loan center in the Fox Point neighborhood of Providence.
The Warwick-based savings bank on June 7 celebrated a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the opening of its new lending center at 249 Wickenden St.
The bank, established in 1959, is headed by Brian J. Murphy, who was named chairman of the board and CEO earlier this year. A family owned company, Murphy succeeded his father, John Murphy, who founded the bank.
The federally insured outfit has branches in Providence and Warwick. The Wickenden Street lending center is the bank’s second Providence location. A savings branch is located on Weybosset Street.
Home Loan bills itself as a “one-stop banking experience” for customers.
