HopeHealth raises $310K for Providence hospice center at annual gala

PROVIDENCE – HopeHealth raised $310,000 to help the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence at its annual gala, “An Evening of Hope & Gratitude,” held on Oct. 13, the organization announced Wednesday.

The organization also presented the 2018 Human Dignity Award to Arthur S. Robbins of Providence for 30 years of service as a HopeHealth board member. Robbins is the longest-serving board member in the organization’s history.

The organization also announced that a portion of the money raised at the gala will be used to go toward the Arthur S. Robbins Hope Fund – a new fund named after Robbins that will help patients who are uninsured, under-insured or cannot afford hospice care.

The organization said that almost 400 guests attended this year’s gala.
