HousingWorksRI adds data to website

PROVIDENCE – Advocates for affordable housing, researchers and the general public now have access to more housing statistics online.
HousingWorks Rhode Island announced last week that more of its data and analysis is available on the city and town portion of its website.
HousingWorksRI Communications Director Nicole Lagace said the organization added information about foreclosures in 2009 and 2010. It also updated the website with data from its 2011 annual factbook.
The updated website comes ahead of HousingWorks’ 2011 factbook, anticipated for release in September. That book will build on previous editions and expand the amount of local data. Lagace said the organization also expects the book to draw comparisons between owning and renting homes across communities.
