PROVIDENCE – Global gaming leader International Game Technology recently reached a patent cross-licensing agreement with Incredible Technologies Inc., a Class III gaming manufacturer based in Vernon Hills, Ill.
Through the agreement, Incredible Technologies can offer games and patented game features from IGT’s portfolio, but it must pay licensing fees to IGT.

Incredible Technologies has machines in 17 states, along with Asia, the Philippines and Peru, as well an iGaming presence in the United Kingdom. It bills itself as the largest manufacturer of coin-operated video games in the U.S., and is known for its flagship product, Golden Tee Golf.
Dan Schrementi, Incredible Technologies’ vice president of gaming sales and marketing, said the agreement with IGT allows the company to remain focused on making games while continuing to design “new and innovative gameplay features our customers have come to expect.”
Michael Prescott, IGT senior vice president and general counsel, North America Gaming & Interactive, said the company is pleased to extend “the positive impact of IGT innovation” through this cross-licensing agreement.
“By leveraging IGT’s industry-leading R&D investment to benefit other game manufacturers, we reinforce our commitments to protecting intellectual property and fostering industry growth,” Prescott said in a statement.
