PROVIDENCE – The Ivy Film Festival today announced it has renewed its partnership with the Open Student Television Network.

The Ivy Film Festival is now in its sixth year. The nation’s largest student-run international film and screenplay festival dedicated to student film, it is seen as a showcase for the next generation of filmmakers.

“Partnering with OSTN is an important step in realizing the mission of the Ivy Film Festival,” said Director Nick Clifford. “The forum OSTN created is ground-breaking in its dedication to student work, and empowers student filmmakers to produce content because they can now have faith that people will be watching.”

The 2007 Ivy Film Festival is slated for April 11 to 15 at Brown University. Besides screenings of more than 30 diverse student films, it will feature appearances by Hollywood insiders, panels and workshops with award-winning filmmakers and sneak previews of acclaimed independent films.
