JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown mansion on the waterfront has sold for $6.4 million.
Lila Delman Real Estate, the firm that handled the sale, said that the transaction marked the highest sale in the state this year.
Known as Daybreak, the home sits on 5.8 acres of land along the East Passage of Narragansett Bay. Built in 2004, the mansion includes five bedrooms, six full baths, a gourmet kitchen and a billiard room.
The property at 330 East Shore Road also comes with a detached two-bedroom guesthouse, a three-car garage, an in-ground pool, two moorings and a deepwater dock. All told, Lila Delman said the property has 6,465 square feet of living space.
“Architecturally designed by the award-winning firm of Estes and Twombly, in the tradition of Rhode Island’s turn-of-the-century Watch Hill style cottages, Daybreak epitomizes classic, timeless style with its elegant details and beauty, yet remains unpretentious, warm and welcoming,” according to the property description.
A seller disclosure firm identified the seller as Stephen Evangelista, who has lived in the home since January 2004.
