The event will be an ideal opportunity for nonprofit groups like the JAYCEES – who have been engaged in several community development projects over the past year with Johnson & Wales graduate students – to directly communicate in an in-depth manner about the many aspects of the ongoing “community partnerships” in which the students have engaged within our Rhode Island institutional community.

“The whole concept of fortifying both student skills in real onsite experiences while reaping the benefits of capacity building within the realm of non-profit organizations, has and continues to be a win-win situation for the entire process,” remarked John J. “Jack” Lancellotta, executive director of the JAYCEE Education & Library Foundation.

Said Lancellotta, a coordinator of the agency’s programming events, “such a vibrant collaborative among area organizations and a student body representing a global perspective, has paid extraordinary community dividends that everyone can be most proud of and celebrate its monumental successes.”

The JAYCEES have had the opportunity to qualify for three such development marketing projects over a year’s time that included foreign exchange students hailing from Thailand, South Korea, Nepal, Turkey, Germany and Morocco.

The Celebration of Success will take place Thursday, April 19, at 4 p.m. at the Culinary Archives Museum, in the Paramount Building, on the Johnson & Wales Harborside Campus.

The program is being presented in cooperation with the Alan Shawn Feinstein Graduate School and The Feinstein Community Service Center at Johnson & Wales University.
