Job Lot opens its 100th store, in Massachusetts

NORTH KINGSTOWN – Ocean State Job Lot last week announced the opening of a store in Wellington Circle Plaza in Medford, Mass., the company’s 100th store.
The privately held retailer specializes in selling brand-name merchandise at close-out prices. Founded in 1977, the company touts annual sales $500 million. The company acquires most of its merchandise from manufacturers who are in possession of overstocked or discontinued brand-name goods and are willing to sell the product at steep discounts.
