Jumping from stage to the workplace

AFTER SPENDING more than 20 years acting professionally in the United Kingdom and Europe, Dena Davis is going corporate with her skills and helping executives and staff cultivate better communication in the workplace. Her East Providence business, Action Performance & Leadership Coaching, launched last November. Davis and colleague Elise Arsenault work with individuals or businesses and take techniques used by professional actors and share them with people in the workplace. Despite just starting out, Davis said she’s already worked with a handful of individuals and businesses. She’d like to expand operations throughout the region – Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut – and already has plans to open an office in Los Angeles. n
