KVH named top supplier by General Dynamics

MIDDLETOWN – KVH Industries Inc. was recently honored by General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada as a Supplier of the Year.
The award was presented in a ceremony at KVH’s facility in Tinley Park, Ill., which produces TacNav tactical navigation systems used in military vehicles used around the world. It also produces fiber-optic gyros used in a variety of commercial and military applications.
“We are extremely proud of the role that KVH and our products play in keeping U.S. and allied soldiers safe and on course, through precision navigation systems on vehicles built by GDLS-C,” said David Laird, KVH’s defense program manager, who attended the ceremony at Tinley Park.
In ranking KVH among this year’s top suppliers, the division cited the contractor’s excellence in categories including on-time delivery, response to technical information requests, repair status updates and quotes.
