
WARWICK – The Learning Experience, an early-childhood education franchise, has opened its first center in Rhode Island.
The 11,000-square-foot center, at 60 Jefferson Park Road, previously held offices for a security-systems company.

The company, which in New England has 12 locations in Massachusetts and two in Connecticut, has a proprietary curriculum and reports that 90 percent of its students can read by kindergarten.
An extensive renovation of the Warwick building was completed by Vantage Builders Inc. of Waltham, Mass. The architect was Jarmel Kizel Architects and Engineers, which has designed more than 100 Learning Experience buildings.
The Warwick center has eight classrooms for children of varying ages, and hallways and classrooms with rounded corners for children’s safety, according to a news release by Vantage.
