Leigh Furtado advises families on all stages of estate planning, estate administration and trust administration. Leigh is also a member of the Firm’s Tax-Exempt Organizations and Charitable Giving practice group. Leigh is particularly interested the preservation and transfer of digital assets and artwork, and her commentary on these topics has been published in leading legal publications. Leigh also guides families through the probate process, serves as trustee and advises fiduciaries on complex trust administration matters.

Leigh currently serves on the Professional Advisory Committee of the Rhode Island Foundation and the boards of Rhode Island Legal Services, the Abbott Run Valley Club and Cumberland Youth Lacrosse. She is a member of the Rhode Island Women’s Bar Association (former Board Secretary), the Estate Planning Council of Rhode Island and is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
