PROVIDENCE – CyberScout, an identity protection, identity-theft recovery and breach services company with offices in Providence, has announced Jennifer Leuer as its new CEO.

Her appointment was effective on June 24, according to a news release. Leuer joins the company from Experian, where she was president of partner solutions. Before that, she was a general manager of consumer-to-consumer and residential and commercial markets for Auction.com, based in Irvine, Calif.

Leuer has an MBA from the University of California in Irvine and a bachelor’s degree in communications from California State University in Fullerton. Her experience in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer channels will strengthen CyberScout’s distribution abilities, said founder and Chairman Adam Levin.

“Her experience, vision, passion and sense of urgency make her the perfect choice to lead the CyberScout organization as we grow our global footprint exponentially,” he said in a statement.

Founded in 2003, CyberScout has four locations. It is headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz.
