PROVIDENCE – Lefkowitz, Garfinkel, Champi & DeRienzo, the regional accounting and consulting firm, has joined the HLB International worldwide network of independent accounting firms.
HLB, formed in 1969, is currently ranked among the world’s 12 largest accounting and business advisory groups, LGC&D said.
“The importance of strengthening our domestic and international presence is significant,” Richard J. DeRienzo, managing principal of LGC&D, said yesterday in announcing the alliance. “As the world becomes increasing smaller, our affiliation with HLB will afford us increased access to professionals throughout the United States and the world to assist our clients manage the technical and logistical issues of doing business throughout the world.”
LGC&D, with more than 60 professionals on staff, is now part of an HLB network whose affiliates have more than 430 offices, 1,500 partners and 10,800 staff and operate in more than 100 countries.
