Lighthouse debuts product at IBM show

LINCOLN – Lighthouse Security Group LLC debuted a new product at the IBM Pulse 2009 show, held this month at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.
The new Web-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, Lighthouse Gateway, provides corporate identity and access management services based on IBM’s Tivoli software.
Lighthouse said it hopes companies will choose the Gateway service over traditional offerings because it eliminates the costs associated with installing and maintaining an in-house security infrastructure.
Lighthouse Gateway is estimated to cost an enterprise customer 30 to 60 percent less than full ownership of an in-house system over the first three years of operation, according to the company.
Lighthouse Security Group is a subsidiary of Lincoln-based Lighthouse Computer Services. Last year, Lighthouse was awarded the 2008 IBM Business Partner Excellence Award for North America. &#8226
