Local software vendor integrates EHR option

WARWICK – GBA Health Network Systems, creator of the MEDfx browser-based practice management system, has partnered with Wellogic of Cambridge, Mass., to integrate the latter’s electronic health records system, Wellogic Consult, with MEDfx.
Both Consult and MEDfx have open architectures and are designed to work easily with third-party solutions, the companies said.
“Wellogic Consult is an interoperable EHR unlike any other vendor offering,” said GBA’s President/CEO Colin P. Barry in a news release. “Wellogic’s and GBA’s combined offering allows us to deliver the patient’s entire record at the point of care without compromising patient privacy and at commoditized cost.”
The integrated systems are live or being implemented at more than 10 physician practices in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, Wisconsin and Texas, the firms said. •
