PROVIDENCE – The conversion of a pair of former office buildings to luxury residential apartments is now completed at 225 Weybosset St., and the developer has begun leasing the units.

The 12 apartments over street-level retail spaces were designed by ASH NYC, along with Kite Architects of Providence. The units are available in varied configurations, from studios up to two bedrooms.

Leasing is being coordinated by Lenox Realty Group. Rents range from $1,095 a month for the smaller units to $2,000 and up for the two-bedroom apartments, according to the online listings. At street level, two retail spaces also are available. For more information, visit www.225weybosset.com.

The buildings are conjoined structures that were renovated over the past 18 months, and still retain their historical details. Some of the apartments overlook the Providence Performing Arts Center and Grace Episcopal Church.

The development team most recently worked in Providence in converting another former office building, at 32 Custom House St., into an apartment building. That building is now fully leased.
