Marable attended Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn., for her undergraduate education, received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, and a Master of Public Health degree from Boston University School of Public Health. Additionally, Marable received advanced Preventive Medicine Fellowship training in community oriented primary care, and served as a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Primary Health Care Policy Fellow.
