Massachusetts Health Connector offers shopping site for small businesses

PROVIDENCE – The Massachusetts Health Connector has a new shopping platform for small businesses (50 employees and under), and the last of three informational events educating owners about it, organized by the New England Business Association, is scheduled for Aug. 16.

The new platform offers helpful tools to employers, brokers and employees, making it easier for small businesses to offer health insurance to their employees. Small businesses have the power to control costs and offer flexibility.

The free informational event, to be held from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at Four Star Connections, 1 Bonazzoli Ave., Hudson, Mass., provides useful tips on how to navigate health care intricacies and find affordable and flexible coverage for both employers and employees.

Pre-registration is required for planning purposes. For more information or questions, contact (781) 890-9070 or info@newneglandbusiness.org.
