McCabe Software lands Canadian client

CRANSTON – McCabe Software Inc. said last week that a Canadian firm had selected its McCabe IQ Test Team Edition to use for software testing after comparing it against competing products.
Kinetics Drive Solutions Inc., based in Langley, British Columbia, will use McCable IQ, which analyzes the quality and test-coverage of critical applications, to get test coverage data and analysis for roughly 100,000 lines of embedded C code it designs for a new line of heavy duty off-road military vehicles.
“Our technology has proven to be a powerful asset to organizations in search of higher quality mission, safety, and business critical embedded applications for more than 30 years,” David Belhumeur, McCabe Software’s CEO, said in a statement. “I am certain that Kinetic Drive Solutions will find the same success.”
Kinetics Drive Solutions specializes in advanced transmission and vehicle drive systems, according to a news release. It is a subsidiary of ST Engineering, a Singaporean conglomerate also known as Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd., which also is a McCabe client.
