PROVIDENCE – The Interstate 195 Redevelopment District Commission has two new members.
Michael McNally, a retired senior executive for Skanska, and Michael S. Van Leesten, the CEO of OIC of Rhode Island Inc., joined the quasi-state board earlier this summer.
McNally is the former CEO and president of Skanska USA, and also is a board member for the R.I. Commerce Corp. and a member of the University of Rhode Island President’s Advisory Council. Under his leadership, United States-based Skanska operations had annual revenues in excess of $7 billion.
Van Leesten, who previously served on the I-195 commission, is the former executive director of the Providence Planning and Development Department, a director of Fleet Bank and the founding chairman of the Omni Development Corp. OIC of Rhode Island, a nonprofit based in Providence, provides workforce training and education to Rhode Islanders and small businesses.
