WARWICK – The Washington Trust Co. has provided $2 million in commercial real estate refinancing for Motel 6 in Warwick, the bank announced last week.
A group of investors, including California-based Hanford Hotels, owns the 62,287-square-foot, 121-room hotel. Westerly-based Washington Trust provided the refinancing to a holding company, known as Coastal Holdings Warwick.
“The property’s close proximity to Interstate 95 and T.F. Green Airport makes it a convenient lodging choice for business people and others traveling in the greater Providence area,” Washington Trust Chairman, CEO and President Joseph J. MarcAurele said in a statement.
The motel also includes an outdoor pool, truck parking and a restaurant.
