West Hartford, Conn. (March 11, 2007) – MyMovieNetwork, the filmmaker community dedicated to all filmmakers is pleased to announce the launch of its ever music video contest, “The Rise from Music Videocrity.”

The contest – one of many – is open to all filmmakers, actors, musicians, directors and individuals who love music and videos. Anyone can enter, on www.mymovienetwork.com, from March 4 to May 1.

Here at MyMovieNetwork, we love music as much as we love movies.

“We’ve seen many run of the mill music videos, so MyMovieNetwork is rising above to find the best of the best,” said MyMovieNetwork CEO Clint Mazur. “Our system allows us to recognize all who worked on the video, not just the singer, or the director.

“This is a very exciting competition for us, especially since the public is doing the judging.”

MyMovieNetwork is looking for amateur film makers to present music videos for their favorite songs. The music in the video can be their own or not. We ask that filmmakers give the artist credit, whoever wrote the song.

We are not looking for music of any specific genre, so feel free to rock our socks off or drop some hot beats. The most important thing is quality, so put in the time.

Winners will be selected based on comments left by viewers, the highest quality films, and overall rating.

The winner of our contest will get cash and prizes.
