What fun activities does your company offer employees to participate in? We gather quarterly to celebrate individual and company accomplishments and promote upcoming events and activities, including golf lessons; golf outings; lucky lunch celebrations; happy hour events; bowling events; food, ice cream and beverage truck visits; departmental team-building events; Red Sox and Bruins games; community service opportunities; 5K races; and our annual holiday party.
What role does diversity and inclusion play in your hiring and promotion decisions? We are steadfast in our efforts to create a safe and unified workspace at NEC. Our anti-racism, diversity, equity and inclusion strategy is focused on four pillars, and each of our new goals aligns with one of those: talent, education, culture, service. Every person who walks through our doors or onto one of our job sites needs to feel welcome and respected. That’s why we’re revisiting our practices and the training resources we offer to ensure they include anti-racism and anti-bias content.
