WESTERLY – Washington Trust has announced that it has opened its third branch office in Cranston, on 2174 Plainfield Pike. The interior of the 3,600 square foot, full-service branch features four teller stations, two customer-service areas, management offices, a safe deposit box vault and a walk-up ATM. Exterior conveniences include two-lane drive up banking lanes, a night deposit safe and a drive-up ATM.
The announcement to construct a branch in the location was made last fall. “Washington Trust is continuing our expansion in Rhode Island,” said Joseph J. MarcAurele, Washington Trust chairman, president and CEO in a prepared statement. Earlier this year, the bank opened a new center for home loans in Warwick. Jason Quinlan will serve as the branch manager.
