NFI Corp. secures ISO certification

NEW BEDFORD – Printed-graphics company Nameplates for Industry, or NFI Corp., which specializes in printing on plastics, has earned a renewed ISO 9001:2015 certification, valid from Oct. 23 to Sept. 17, 2018.

Beginning as a screen-printing manufacturer in England in the 1970s, the company now offers digital and flexographic printing, producing barcode labels, serial-number labels, domed labels and more. NFI Corp. serves the medical, industrial-manufacturing, government/military, professional-services, technology and communications, transportation and equipment, and distribution markets.

“We are proud of our commitment to quality, safety and efficiency when producing products for our customers, which has led to this recertification,” said Renaud Megard, president and CEO of NFI Corp. “We are committed to solving problems for our customers, and this dedication to that mission has been recognized as aligned with that of the International Organization for Standardization.”

The designation certifies that NFI Corp. applies a management system in line with the EN ISO 9001:2015 standard in the manufacturing of digital offset and custom screen-printed nameplates, labels, decals, faceplates, barcodes, serial- number tags, laminated assemblies and membrane switch keypads, for identifying products and services.
