Nortek promotes Prete to VP

PROVIDENCE – Ventilation products maker Nortek Inc. announced on Sept. 21 that Andrew W. Prete was promoted to the position of vice president of the company.

Prete added business development to his oversight to the other positions he already held: senior legal counsel and assistant secretary.

He will continue to be involved in the legal aspects of acquisitions, financing, capital market projects, and others. He will participate in the acquisition and divestiture strategies and laed the execution and assimilation of approved M&A opportunities.

Prete began at Nortek 10 years ago as the associate general counsel. Prior to that, he was an associate in the corporate department of the law firm Adler, Pollock & Sheehan. He graduated from the College of the Holy Cross and Roger Williams University School of Law.
