PROVIDENCE – Norwegian Air has discontinued its flights to Bergen, Norway, the R.I. Airport Corp. announced Monday.

Norwegian also announced it is adding a flight to Shannon, Ireland, twice a week as well as reducing the number of weekly flights to Edinburgh, Scotland, from four to three per week for the summer of 2018.

The airline said anyone who had a flight booked to Bergen can get a full refund or can reschedule the flight.

RIAC sees the move as a minor market adjustment based on demand.

  • Three weekly flights to Cork, Ireland
  • Five weekly flights to Dublin, Ireland
