Patrick names three to Early Education board

BOSTON – Gov. Deval L. Patrick announced this month the appointments of Lynson Beaulieu, Orlando Isaza and Mary Pat Messmer to the Massachusetts Board of Early Education and Care.
Lynson Moore Beaulieu, of Roxbury, is currently the director of programs and strategic leadership at the Schott Foundation for Public Education. Previously she was a senior consultant at the national Black Child Development Institute in Washington D.C.
Orlando Isaza, of Northampton, is the senior program officer and manager for Grant Making Initiatives at the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts. In addition, he is an adjunct professor of Sociology and Human Services at Springfield College and an adjunct professor of Spanish and social work at Elms College.
Mary Pat Messmer, of Centerville, is executive director of the Cape Cod Child Development Program – the third largest nonprofit organization on Cape Cod that provides Head Start, preschool, afterschool, family and teen parent early education and care and early-invention services to families on the Cape. &#8226
