Pawtucket rail funds are a good first step

The Federal Transit Administration’s decision to release $2 million to study the feasibility of an MBTA commuter rail stop in Pawtucket, and to do preliminary design work for the project, is an example of a solid investment in the state’s future. Projects to connect MBTA transit to Warwick and North Kingstown are already under way.
