Directly below the news feed is PBN.com’s Weekly Poll, placed next to PBN Rich Media, which includes the weekly appearance by PBN Editor Mark S. Murphy with WJAR-TV NBC 10’s news anchor Frank Coletta, along with videos of the winners of PBN’s recognition programs and the coming catalog of PBN podcasts.
Scrolling further down the page, the reader sees a new section that not only contains direct links to major stories from the current print edition of the paper, but also links directly to a new page on the site that contains links to every piece of that week’s print edition.
In addition, each story on the site includes a tool that allows a reader to purchase a link to that story that can be shared with anyone, giving them access to the story regardless of their subscriber status. Packages are available to purchase multiple links in the course of a year. Subscribers can read all stories on PBN.com at any time.
Mark S. Murphy is PBN’s editor.
