MIDDLETOWN – People’s Credit Union has appointed Barry Dunn as its business loan manager.
In his new position, Dunn will focus extensively on building relationships with the local business community and will be responsible for growing the credit union’s commercial loan portfolio through new business generation, while also enhancing existing business relationships, the Middletown-based company said.

Dunn, a resident of Middletown, has more than 35 years of financial services and management experience. Most recently, he held the position of small business relationship manager for Santander Bank. Earlier in his career, Dunn was the collections manager at People’s Credit Union.
“We are so excited to have Barry join our team,” said Lyn Dawley, the credit union’s vice president of lending. “His extensive banking background and broad knowledge of the commercial lending industry strengthens our core team as we work toward expanding our business lending portfolio.
