Police ask to pause 6-10 connector work details due to alleged hazardous soil

PROVIDENCE – Rhode Island’s two largest police unions have requested to temporarily quit working details on the 6-10 connector highway project, citing allegations that the soil is contaminated, WPRI-TV CBS 12 reported on Sept. 8.
