Promotions announced at EforAll

NEW BEDFORD – Shelley Cardoos has been promoted to director of programs at Entrepreneurship for All, or EforAll, an accelerator program with multiple locations throughout Massachusetts, and Jeremiah Hernandez has been promoted to executive director at EforAll South Coast, which serves New Bedford and Fall River.

The director of programs at EforAll headquarters in Lowell, Mass., is a newly created role. Cardoos was previously executive director at EforAll South Coast, which will be Hernandez’s title as of Jan. 1. He previously served as EforAll South Coast program manager. A search for his replacement is underway, according to a company press release.

Opened in 2015, the organization’s New Bedford and Fall River locations have seen 47 ventures go through its program, with about 100 startups involved in its pitch contests. Over $100,000 in cash prizes has been distributed by EforAll South Coast, which is estimated to have created over 150 jobs with $1.7 million generated in revenue. The accelerator program operates in five Massachusetts cities, focusing on inclusive entrepreneurship.

PowerDocks LLC, a company with locations in Newport and Fall River that creates marine autonomous powered docking platforms, is one company that has gone through the accelerator program, according to EforAll’s website.
