
PROVIDENCE – A contemporary-style home on the East Side of Providence that was featured in Architectural Digest in 1958 recently sold for $1.9 million, according to Residential Properties Ltd., which represented both sides of the transaction.
The 33 Intervale Road home contains four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and one half-bathroom. The two-story home, located about 500 feet away from Blackstone Boulevard Park, was constructed in 1950, according to city property records.

The 5,000-square-foot home features a rounded entryway, a salon with 15-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, and carved wood panels, according to Residential Properties.
With hardwood floors throughout the main level, the home features a family room with a fireplace, a custom cocktail bar, a vintage powder room and a large dining room, according to Residential Properties. The first floor also features a bedroom suite, with a private bathroom, along with a curved staircase, leading to the second level.
The larger primary suite includes a sitting area, a dressing area with built-in wardrobes, an office, and a large tile bathroom with a double vanity, according to Residential Properties. The basement level of the home features a full bar and billiards table.
The home also comes with a rear deck, a garden and a 0.21-acre yard.
The contemporary home and the land it stands on were most recently valued by Providence assessors in fiscal 2024 as being worth $1.04 million, according to the city’s online property tax evaluation database. Of that, $413,800 was attributed to the land.
Residential Properties sales associate Jim DeRentis represented both sides of the transaction.
According to the warranty deed, a public record of the sale, the home was sold by RI Mukand Corre LLC, which is a foreign limited liability company managed by John Mukand and Giselle Corre, of Gainesville, Fla., according to the Fla. Department of State database.
The property was purchased by 33 Intervale Road LLC, according to the deed. The Rhode Island limited liability company based in Providence is managed by David Annese, according to the R.I. Department of State database.
