JOHNSTON – Pure Haven Essentials, formerly known as Ava Anderson Non Toxic, is moving to a new spot at 1 Carding Lane here starting next month.

According to Michael Giuttari, president of MG Commercial Real Estate, which is leasing the new 65,000-square-foot spot to Pure Haven in Johnston, the company moved into its current Warren location knowing it would eventually have to leave. He said that property is being redeveloped for residential use by Brady Sullivan Properties of Manchester, N.H., and the building Pure Haven is in will be torn down.

The company, which sells beauty products, relocated to a 20,000-square-foot warehouse at the American Tourister Mill in Warren in August 2015.

Giuttari said Pure Haven will share space in the 125,000-square-foot building with A&H Manufacturing, which downsized. He said Pure Haven, which has approximately 60 employees, will start moving to Johnston next month and transition through August.

Noting Pure Haven’s ownership is now based in Utah, Giuttari said he is pleased the company chose to remain in Rhode Island.

“It’s good they decide to keep the business in Rhode Island,” Giuttari said.

A spokesperson for Pure Haven Essentials could not be reached immediately for comment.

Marketing for commercial space at the American Tourister at 99 Main St. began last fall. Giuttari is handling the leasing for that development. The mill, which has been renovated, features 62,000-square-feet of office, retail and restaurant space. Apartments also are part of the project, and a residential tower will be built where the Pure Haven warehouse now sits, according to Giuttari.
