MIDDLETOWN – PURVIS Systems Inc. has been awarded a contract by the Naval Undersea Warfare Centers to provide systems engineering, laboratory development and maintenance, modeling and program management services to NUWC’s Sensors and Sonar Systems Department.
PURVIS is part of a team headed up by Rite Solutions Inc. of Pawcatuck, Conn., that was awarded a series of Navy task orders through a competitive process.

Under the deal, the team will provide systems engineering services for developmental and in-service undersea warfare programs, including hardware and software prototype design, development and fabrication, and installation, testing and evaluation of USW systems.
The team will also provide laboratory facilities design, fabrication, and installation and maintenance, among other services. The task orders are for one base year and four option years. The total value of contract is $24.1 million.
