PROVIDENCE – In an effort to create space for its expanding sales and corporate divisions, Residential Properties Ltd. announced this week that it has reclaimed the first floor of its Wickenden Street headquarters.
The first floor had been occupied by Benefit Street Antiques, which recently moved a few blocks to the corner of Wickenden and Brook streets.
Along with the expansion of existing divisions, the new room will also house the company’s new divisions, it said last week. Those include RPL Commercial and corporate training and rental divisions.
“I am thrilled to have the entire building occupied by the company,” President and CEO Sally E. Lapides said in a statement. “The continued growth of the Providence office is unprecedented. We have added superb real estate professionals to our dynamic team.”
Residential’s relocation division will move from its northern Rhode Island location to the headquarters.

Residential Properties Ltd. is headquartered in Providence and also has offices in Barrington, Cumberland, East Greenwich, Newport and Narragansett. The company – founded in 1981 – has grown to more than 150 Realtors and more than 40 support staff. For more information, visit www.ResidentialProperties.com.
