Rhode Island Medical Imaging earns recognition for media campaigns

WARWICK – Four of Rhode Island Medical Imaging Inc.’s media campaigns have received recognition from the Healthcare Digital Marketing Awards.

The national awards, launched this year by Healthcare Marketing Report, received nearly 300 entries for its inaugural competition. Award categories included health care websites and campaigns using digital, mobile and social media and electronic communications.

RIMI earned gold awards for its October Breast Cancer Awareness Month Quiz with Rhode Island Monthly and its Patient-Focused Approach to Social Media campaign.

RIMI’s new website and video series titled “Seeing the Unseeing” both received merit recognition.

Digital marketing’s role in connecting the organization with patients, physicians and the community has become increasingly important, said Dana Alexander Nolfe, chief marketing officer at Rhode Island Medical Imaging.

“We are so proud of the RIMI team for continuing to think outside of the box and find new, innovative and interactive ways to support Rhode Islanders,” she said.

Contest entries were judged on creativity, marketing execution and other criteria, and were reviewed by “a national panel of health care marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals, and the editorial board of Healthcare Marketing Report,” a statement from Healthcare Marketing Report reads.
