Rite Aid pays $300K for excess controlled substance prescriptions

PROVIDENCE – The state has negotiated a $300,000 settlement from Rite Aid Corp. for filling excess prescriptions of Schedule III controlled substances, the R.I. Office of Attorney General announced.
