Rite-Solutions among 3 companies awarded $300M Navy contract

MIDDLETOWN – Rite-Solutions Inc. has been awarded one of three Rapid Product Development and Sustainment Infinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contacts by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command Sea Warrior Program Office, an organization within the U.S. Navy, to upgrade Navy business applications and information technology systems, Rite-Solutions announced last week.

The contracts, which have a combined ceiling of $300 million, are for work to redesign, develop, modernize and sustain the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command’s Sea Warrior (PMW 240) and Enterprise Systems and Service (PW 250) programs’ portfolio of nontactical information technology systems supporting the Navy fleet as well as redesign, develop, modernize and sustain Department of Defense and Navy Business System applications, which include human resources, workforce development, administration and criminal justice applications.

The company will compete with two other companies, eScience & Technology Solutions Inc. of Charleston, S.C., and Ideamatics Inc. of McLean, Va., for individual task orders under the contact.

The RPDS contract ordering period began in November 2017 and continues through November 2022. The contract also includes three one-year options that can extend the ordering period through November 2025.

“We are very excited to receive this contract award from PMW 240 [and PMW 250],” said Dennis McLaughlin, president and CEO of Rite-Solutions in a statement. “It is our largest IDIQ and provides the opportunity for significant business growth with a new DoD customer in our core capability – software engineering.”

Rite-Solutions is a software-development, systems engineering, information technology cybersecurity and learning-development firm based in Middletown that contracts with government and commercial segments.
