MIDDLETOWN – Rite-Solutions was awarded a five-year, $20.3 million contract from the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport to provide engineering services for its Submarine Combat Control Systems, the company announced Monday.
The contract will have Rite-Solutions providing program services such as hardware and software engineering, systems engineering, system integration and test, fleet support and lab support, the company said.
“For the U.S. Submarine Force and select allies, we will be studying new concepts and requirements, and supporting the development for these future systems as well [as] upgrades and modifications for current systems in the fleet,” stated Ken Haner, senior vice president and director of engineering services at Rite-Solutions.
No other companies were included in the contract.
