Rite-Solutions wins $10M contract to support Defense Department IT

MIDDLETOWN — Rite-Solutions Inc. has been awarded a $10 million, five-year competitive Task Order from Space and Naval Warfare System Command Enterprise Systems and Services under the Rapid Product Development and Sustainment contract to support the Department of Defense Information Technology Portfolio Repository and Department of Navy Applications and Database Management System.

Rite-Solutions provides software and systems development services to government, DoD, and commercial markets. The contract was awarded to the company on Dec. 1, 2017. Work will be performed at Rite-Solutions facilities in Middletown and Washington, D.C.

Under the task order, Rite-Solutions and subcontractor Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems Services, will provide software engineering services to sustain, maintain and operate DITPR/DADMS, as well as implement annual improvement modifications.

“We are very pleased to be awarded this initial task order under the RaPDS contract,” said Michael Taylor, vice president business operations and program management office. “We recognize the importance of DITPR/DADMS and are committed to sustaining these systems to meet the needs of PMW 250 and the user community. [This contract] has allowed us to add additional software professionals to our workforce, which is a win for both Rite-Solutions and the local communities where the work is performed.”
