St. Vincent’s, a Fall River-based child welfare, behavioral health and special education organization, recently received a $50,000 grant from the CVS Caremark Charitable Trust, CVS Caremark Corp.’s private foundation. The trust had selected 72 organizations from 660 grant applications to receive grants totaling $3.3 million.
“St. Vincent’s is grateful to the CVS Caremark Charitable Trust for their support of our youth in the Life Skills Program,” said Jack Weldon, executive director of St. Vincent’s. “Funds will give youth who have various levels of cognitive, behavioral, emotional and social impairment the opportunity to become equipped with the skills necessary to transition to independent living as productive, adult members of society.”
