PROVIDENCE – The Providence accounting firm of Sansiveri, Kimball & Co. has appointed Jason M. DaPonte as managing partner. He succeeds Michael DeCataldo, who will stay with the firm as a senior tax partner.
DaPonte, 38, joined Sansiveri in 2008 and was named a partner in 2016. He has led the firm’s construction and related services specialty group for the last six years.

“We will continue to focus on looking for new and innovative ways to enhance the client experience,” said DaPonte, who attended college in Rhode Island and continues to live here.
Since joining the firm in 1983, DeCataldo has been a driving force in positioning Sansiveri for long-term success, the firm said. Under his leadership, the firm has grown to about 50 employees.
“I feel nothing but positivity for what lies ahead because I have tremendous confidence in Jason, our leadership team, and the entire team,” DeCataldo said.
Since 1975, Sansiveri has provided audit, accounting, forensic, financial planning, valuation, tax, strategic planning, and business counsel to businesses around southeastern New England.
