PROVIDENCE – The U.S. Small Business Administration is accepting applications for its 2018 Emerging Leaders Program, the SBA announced Saturday.
The executive-level, intensive education series runs from March through September 2018 and is designed for budding small business owners. To qualify for the program, applicants must have been in business for at least three years, have one employee and have a minimal annual revenue of $400,000.
The education series entails about 100 hours of training that includes 40 hours of instruction time over 13 sessions, according to the press release. The sessions will go over topics such as business and strategy assessment, financials and Marketing and Sales. About 14 hours will be spent in CEO mentoring groups.
The program is free for applicants and those accepted. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until March 16 and can be found at www.interise.org/sbaemergingleaders.
