SBA deadline approaches for Uxbridge mill loans

ATLANTA – The U.S. Small Business Administration is reminding businesses in Massachusetts and Rhode Island that Economic Injury Disaster Loans are still available to small businesses economically impacted by the fire at Bernat Mill Complex in Uxbridge, Mass., on July 21, 2007.
Small businesses in the following counties are eligible to apply: Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, Middlesex, Norfolk and Worcester County in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; Tolland and Windham in the State of Connecticut; Cheshire and Hillsborough in the State of New Hampshire; and Providence County in the State of Rhode Island.
Loans are available up to $l.5 million for small businesses that suffered substantial economic injury from the disaster.
The deadline to apply for the loans is April 23. •
